VIES

The integration enables the verification of the EU VAT number of contractors in the VIES database. Status verification is free of charge and available for all EU countries. The verification query receives a unique identifier, which you can use in your processes, e.g. on printouts. In addition, the date and time of the verification are collected. This data can be automatically saved into additional fields in the order.

In BaseLinker, you can easily automate processes depending on the correctness status of the European VAT number, e.g. generate an invoice with the correct VAT rate or automatically flag orders where the VAT number is inaccurate.
