Direct integrations with printers allow for printing labels with a single click, without the need to download a label file.

BaseLinker connects with the printer in the background and the label is printed immediately after pressing the button in the order. This reduces the time needed to print a single label. Printing is possible from any computer (even if it is far from the office).

 

Integration possibilities

  • Possibility of printing a label from the order page (button on the shipment list in the order). If multiple printers are connected to the system, the user can choose the printer from the list.
  • Possibility of direct label printing also from the order list (individually after generating packages or in bulk for selected packages).
  • Quick invoice printing button in the order (both for BaseLinker templates and invoices forwarded to accounting services such as iFirma, wFirma, Fakturownia, Firmao, InFakt).
  • Quick receipt printing button.
  • Setting employee permissions for printers. For each employee account, printers that they can use can be specified. This is particularly useful when there are multiple packing stations in the company with separate printers.
  • Setting a default printer for an employee profile. Each employee can specify their main printer, which will always be available first on the list (the list of printers to choose from appears if more than one printer is connected to the system).

 

Currently, the available integrations are:

  • BaseLinker Printer,
  • PrintNode,
  • Inspigo CloudPrint,
  • SellIntegro CloudPrint.

 

BaseLinker Printer

BaseLinker Printer is an application that allows you to print a document with a single click from the BaseLinker panel – without the need to download the document to your desktop. To do this, simply select the “Print” icon located next to it in the panel. Printing can also be done automatically using automatic actions. With BaseLinker Printer, you can print not only invoices or labels but also fiscal receipts.

The plugin is free within the subscription and does not involve any additional fees.

Configuration instruction:
  1. Download the BaseLinker Printer app.
  2. Install and run the application.
  3. Click the “Set in App” button to set the print key. If the automatic setting fails, copy the key to the clipboard yourself and paste it in the application window.
  4. The list of available printers will appear in the form next to it, select the ones you want to use in the BaseLinker panel and click save. If the printer list is empty, click the “Refresh Printer List” button.
  5. The quick print button is available in many places in the system (e.g. on labels, invoices), as well as in automatic actions.

 

PrintNode

The integration requires having an account on PrintNode.com. This is a paid service of $9 per month (with a free trial month available). The main advantage of this solution is the ability to print not only standard PDF files, but also EPL/ZPL labels for thermal printers. PrintNode is also known for its fast operation, allowing printing to start very quickly after pressing the print button.

Configuration instruction:
  1. Register on the website https://www.printnode.com/ and start a free monthly trial period (the subscription cost is $9 in the following months).
  2. Download the PrintNode program for Windows or OS X from: https://app.printnode.com/account/download
  3. Install the program and log in with your newly created PrintNode account.
  4. On the PrintNode website, go to the “API” tab: https://app.printnode.com/account/apiKey
  5. Click the “Make new API key” button, enter “BaseLinker” in the “Description” field in the form and submit the form.
  6. Copy the API key from the table in PrintNode and paste it into the “API Key” field in the Integrations → Add new integration → Printouts → PrintNode section.
  7. The new form field on the page will display printers to choose from. Select the printers you want to use in BaseLinker.
  8. You can now print labels directly on the printer without downloading the file. 🙂

 

Inspigo CloudPrint

Configuration instruction:
  1. Fill out the form available on the api.inspigo.pl/cloudprinter website.
  2. Install the InspigoCloudPrint program by downloading it from the dedicated link visible below the form.
  3. After opening InspigoCloudPrint on your computer, paste the token that was sent to the address provided during the form filling into the empty field and confirm it with the “Connect” button.
  4. The same API token should be pasted into the “API Key” field in the InspigoCloudPrint integration window in the BaseLinker panel: Integrations → Add new integration → Printouts → Inspigo CloudPrint.
  5. After saving the settings, reopen the integration window and select the printers that the printing plugin will use.

Sellintegro CloudPrint

Opening a free account (more information here) on SellIntegro.pl allows you, among other things, to:

  • use fast and free printing,
  • get a free 14-day trial period for almost 400 integrations.

The free version allows for 1,000 prints/month for BaseLinker and SellIntegro users.

SellIntegro CloudPrint Pro is also available, which guarantees printing every 2-4 seconds. For a price of 100 PLN per month, you can make up to 50,000 prints!

Configuration instruction:
  1. Register an account on sellintegro.pl
  2. Add SellIntegro CloudPrint app to your SellIntegro panel.
  3. Copy the API key from the SellIntegro CloudPrint app and paste it into the BaseLinker integration form and Sellintegro panel.
  4. The integration form on BaseLinker will display the available printers. Choose the ones you want to use with BaseLinker.
  5. You can now print labels directly to your printer without having to download any files.
